I’m Jess Hilton and I am a personal chef and holistic nutrition educator in Los Angeles.  I love food and I want you to love food too!  These days, it appears that many people do not know what they should and shouldn’t be eating -- and who can blame them?  Each week there’s a new study or report either praising a previously vilified food or vilifying a formerly praised food.  Are carbs ok?  Well that depends who you ask and what book they’ve just read.  What about protein?  Am I getting enough?  Why do I crave sweets after meals?

My style of cooking and eating is local, seasonal, sustainable and organic as often as possible.  Fresh produce and whole grains are my primary ingredients and they are easy to find, especially in Los Angeles.  As a personal chef and holistic nutritionist, I want to introduce a fresh, natural style of cooking and eating to my clients.

I adore food and I love to cook, but I also love to feel good about the food I put on the table.  A few years ago, I resolved to shop exclusively at farmers markets and source my ingredients from local purveyors whenever possible.  From fresh fruit and vegetables, to grass-fed beef and organic chicken, the quality of local produce is always far superior to any grocery store.  You can literally taste the difference.  

Holistic Nutrition takes into consideration the whole person and specific nutritional needs which will lead them to better health.  So whatever your goals -- whether it’s to lose weight or simply lead a healthier lifestyle -- I can help you.  Let’s worth together, one delicious dish at a time...
